The Seereer Resource Centre (SRC)

For those of you who have been visiting our old podcast page for the past few years, you might be wondering where has our old page gone. That page is still active on our website and many of our pages link to it. However we have decided to change the way we podcast so that we can continue to provide engaging content.

We have outgrown our old page and have therefore decided to host our podcast elsewhere in collaboration with Seereer Radio. This decision was taken in order to share our huge volume of audio files already in our possession and those yet to be published. Our current website host is unable to accommodate such a huge volume of files hence the move to a new host. The old audios we have uploaded on our old page will remain there, however we will not be updating that page. 

What does this change mean for me?

•  The level of service hasn't changed. In fact, you get to listen to more audios with great content on Seereer religion, history, culture and more...
• Our old and new audios have been uploaded to our new podcast website. Up coming audios will also be uploaded there. 
• Rather than using tags, all our audios will be grouped into categories e.g. Seereer religion, Seereer history, Seereer culture, etc., thereby allowing you to click on the relevant category and view all the related audios. 
• You will still be able to read a general overview of the show e.g. the date of recording, presenters, subjects covered and other information about the show. 
• You will still be able to leave a comment and download a transcript of the audio in English, French, Seereer a Sinig, Saafi-Saafi, Ndut, Sili-Sili, Noon and Laalaa as before by clicking on the relevant language. An alternative way is to scroll down our download page and click on the relevant transcript you wish to download.

The address to our podcast is  www.seereerpodcast.org. Click on that link to open a new window. Please don't forget to like and follow us for updates.

If you just want to listen to the audio without reading information about the audio or show, you can do so by first clicking on the menu bar at the top right hand corner of the player below, scrolling up and down and selecting the audio that interests you. If you however want to learn more about the audio / show, perform a tailored search using our categories and also listen, then head to our new podcast website - see link above.
